Gravimetric feeders are designed to weigh and feed all kinds of powder with accuracy. We combine road cells and original control programs to achieve this. For weighing, we have a loss-in-weight method and continuous weighing method (LOOP CONVEYOR SCALE).


WEIGHING AUTO FEEDER
Loss-In-Weight type gravimetric feeder

The WEIGHING AUTO FEEDER can offer you a very accurate and adjustable feeding/dosing process with a loss-in-weight system. The system consists of a load cell and control unit with a highly reliable programmable controller.
Product features
- We assure ±0.5% to 1.0% accuracy for the range of variable feeding rate of powder.
- There is no scattering of supply powder due to the sealed mechanical structure.
- The apparent bulk density and feeding rate of supply powder can be indicated during the feeding/dosing process.
- If your equipment is installed in a security-controlled area, an explosion proof structure can be selected for electrical instrumentations.

WEIGHING ROLL FEEDER
For pellets and granular materials, Loss-In-Weight type gravimetric feeder

The WEIGHING ROLL FEEDER was developed for feeding granular/pellet materials. The contact surface of the feed roller is specifically designed to protect supplying material. Simple design to adjust the feed rate with semi-round gate’s opening angle. High accuracy loss-in-weight gravimetric control is achieved with a load cell and a highly reliable PLC.

-Mechanical structure and characteristics are the same as the FUNKEN ROLL FEEDER.
-We assure ±0.5% to 1.0% accuracy for the range of variable feeding rate of powder.
-The apparent bulk density and feeding rate of supply powder can be indicated during the feeding/dosing process.

LOOP CONVEYOR SCALE
Flow Meter type gravimetric feeder

The LOOP CONVEYOR SCALE is useful as a mass flow meter for a large amount of powder feeding/dosing in a continuous process. The mechanical structure is designed as a bilaterally symmetrical system and there is no need to weight the whole machine. As a result, only a small size motor is needed for the drive. Normally, the unloading machine is the FUNKEN AUTO FEEDER and large unloading facility is not necessary.
Product features
- There is no termination of weighing because it is a continuous process.
- Only the weight of supply powder is detected during it is flowing due to the balanced structure of the machine itself. The tare weight of the machine is cancelled symmetrically. Therefore, a low-capacity load cell can be selected, and calibration weight is light.
- High accuracy feeding is kept stable because the rotation speed of the LOOP CONVEYOR SCALE and the FUNKEN AUTO FEEDER as the refilling machine are synchronized (The width of the non-linear weight detection hysteresis is small).
- A digital control algorithm to match with the mechanical structure realizes quick response with high accuracy and precision.
-Apparent bulk density of powder during flowing down can be indicated.
-There is no leakage of powder due to the sealed structure.

FUNKEN WAP FEEDER
For plastic waste, Loss-In-Weight type gravimetric feeder

The FUNKEN WAP FEEDER is developed to feed/dose plastic waste. A special impeller mechanism eliminates risk on tangling/agglomeration/bridge formation of plastic waste. High accuracy loss-in-weight gravimetric control is achieved with a load cell and a highly reliable PLC.
Product features
- Not only hard plastics but also soft plastic with undefined shape in 35mm x 35mm size (for example, plastic films and fibers) can be fed.
-Apparent bulk density of plastic waste during feeding/dosing is displayed.
-Easy to maintain because this machine consists of a small number of parts.
-A special impeller mechanism to avoid unnecessary force on plastic waste realizes tangling/agglomeration/bridge-free feeding process.
- All the settings and data indicators are displayed on the monitor of the control panel.
